The episode start with the scene of Mansa’s house

                                                Padma and Barkha’s mom come to ask Mansa for the kanyadan of Barkha. Mansa says how can u think that i can do some else’s kanyadan, with whom my daughter’s marriage was had to happen…Bakha’s mom says isnt Barkha too like ur daughter… he says he doesnt have that big heart that he can give his daughters right to someone else…Chenu too folds his hands and says not to trouble them and he says he does not understand how Barkha didi agreed to marry Dev babu. Mansa shouts at him not to talk inbetween when elders are talking…Padma says it was the request of barkha…Mansa is stunned…and is about to say…

Radhika and Barkha enter, Radhika says to Mansa that he has to do the kanyadan, everybody is stunned and Mansa asks Radhika what is she saying, Radhika says there are very few who help us in hard times, and Barkha is one of them…we have to understand that she’s doing a favour to us by marrying Dev babu…and even Kahna has blessed.

                                Mansa says u have very big heart betiya, but dont expect me to do this kanyadan…Radhika reminds him a story of her childhood told by Mansa about the friendship, same way Barkha and her are the friends, Barkha has agreed to this marriage because of her friendship and she’s doing her duty, and now u have to do ur duty.

                                But Mansa tries to say something, but Radhika stops and says No baba, dont let my sacrifice go in vain, this is good for everybody, let this happen, u have my word…
Finally Mansa agrees…

                              everybody smiles except Padma, chenu…Shanthi and chandu are very much happy.

Dev-Padma conversation

                                Dev is standing at the window with folded hands and remembering their moments, Roka function where the chunari is being put on Radhika, and the engagement function where they exchange rings, and the scene at the mandhir where Radhika takes off the ring…He closes his eyes and tears rolls down his cheeks
Padma comes to his room, stands at the door seeing Dev standing…She feels sad for him, comes near him and tells that on 21st his marriage will happen with Barkha, they have discussed everything wiih her mom, and her Kanyadan will be done by Mansa, Radhika had made her father agreed to this. Dev just hears and walks to the bed…

                                   Padma goes near him and says i know nobody would have talked to u about this, beacuse they know how u are feeling, this marriage is just an Samjhotha. now we hope that one day u’ll…Dev interferes and says( with tears ) ” what one day chotima? that i’ll forget Radhika? or will i live without my soul for the day, u think i am a machine or someone who is very great,… but i am not any of this, i am just an ordinary man, even i get hurt,…Radhika is the one who is great, the idol of sacrifice, who can give away everything with a smile, to anyone!…takes a big sigh,  says she made her father to agree for the kanyadan!!!!…”

                                   Padma is in tears, says Radhika is bound to her dharam, She is helpless, Dev  says we people make our weekness our helplessness…But i’ll not do this, i’ll fight till my last breath, Padma says nothing can happen now, the fate has been decided, maybe u both…Dev starts saying Fate is not yet decided chotima, there is still lot of time for 21st…and he walks out of the room. Padma is little scared and prays…

In the living room

                                 Mohini comes complaining to Padma that why isnt the Mahendi thali not yet sent…Padma says we’ll soon send it as soon as Dev touches it, Mohini says but how much time it can take to touch the thaal…Dev comes sad, Mohini points to Dev that he’s coming Padma looks at him with sad face and asks him if he was going anywhere, Dev shakes his head yes, mohini says just touch the mehendi thaal first and he can go anywhere afetr that…He looks at the Mehendi thaal( mehendi bowl kept on the plate, which Amba is holding)…and lowers his sight, Padma notices and asks Mohini to come with her, and signals Amba to take care before leaving…

                                Amba says this is shagun, groom has to touch this before it is put on the bride hands…Dev says ” Mere naam ki mehendi sirf mere dulhan ke haath mein lagegi” Only my bride will put the mehendi on my name, not on barkha’s hands. Rpji comes there he also listerns this. Amba says nobody is happy with this marriage, they are hiding their pain, they are not showing to not to hurt u, everybody is following their dharam, u also should do ur dharam…Amba  reminds him one of his childhood story, Amrithmanthan, where lord Shiva drinks the poison, for the welfare of everybody, and now like that he has to do the same for the RP status…Dev looks at the thaali for a long time and tightens his fist and slowly takes his hand to the bowl and touches it…seeing this RPji takes a deep breath…Dev moves his sight to side and sees RPji standing there, they look at each other…

Bakha’s house

                        Everybody are ready to start the function, but Barkha is waiting for Radhika, Mansa's family is already present there…Radhika( wearing red lehenga with green chunari, looks simple yet beautiful) comes after sometime, they hug eachother, Barkha says i know u will come for sure…Radhika says did it happen anytime that u call and i dont come!!!…Barkha’s mom says to barkha to start, and she’ll call her aunt to mix the mehendi. Barkha says no Mom Radhika will do it. Radhika is sad and in thoughts, Barkha’s mom comes and gives the thaali to Radhika, she says Dev has touched this mehendi, how much dark the colour it brings on the hands of the bride that much groom loves his bride.

                               Shanthi goes to Barkha and says to put pallu on her head otherwise it will go apshagun, but Barkha takes off the pallu of her head and says all this, only after marriage and she sits down beside Radhika…Shanthi goes to Barkha’s mom and says if u need any help plz tell me. I am very happy for barkha, i am feeling as if it my chanda’s marriage…Radhika listens and looks at shanthi but she doesnt feel affected…Mansa snd chenu are sad.

                               Barkha asks Radhika to mix the mehendi well, so that there are no lumps in it…Barkha says she’ll check it and takes the bowl, She mixes it and intentionally puts the mehendi on Radhika’s hand, Radhika is stunned, and asks what she has done, Barkha says what happened, Radhika says this mehendi should be put by barkha first, Barkha says dnt worry, it was not intentional, God wont mind it…Radhika rubs her mehendi with her chunari…Barkha sees her hand and says ” radhika in short time the colour got on ur hand” and smiles…

                                Barkha’s mom says to start applying the mehendi, Radhika takes the cone and starts to apply, when Shanthi says to Start it with groom’s name, its a very beautiful name ” Dev”…Barkha gives a look at Shanthi, Radhika with almost tears in her eyes shakes her head, she again starts to put the mehendi on Barkhas hand but she could not, she tries for long time but finally, leaves a big sigh and asks Barkha to ask someone else, Barkha notices Radhika’s uneasiness…Radhika sits in the chiar, looks at her hand, and is in her thoughts…
